Stripe Processing Terms
Last updated: 5 March 2026
These terms apply when you enable Stripe features inside Scrubix.
These terms supplement the main Terms and Conditions. Stripe's own legal terms also apply.
1. Connected account responsibility
You are responsible for accurate Stripe onboarding details, business verification and lawful payment use under your connected account.
2. Stripe as payment processor
Stripe processes payments and payouts under Stripe's terms and compliance framework. Scrubix is not a bank and does not hold customer funds.
3. Fees and charges
Stripe processing fees and any Scrubix platform or application fees may apply to transactions, refunds, disputes, failed payments or payouts.
Fee structures can change over time and are shown in-app and or Stripe account views where applicable.
4. Direct debit and card workflows
Mandate setup, direct debit collection timing, charge status and settlement timelines are subject to payment method rules and Stripe processing stages.
You are responsible for clear customer communication before charging.
5. Refunds, disputes and chargebacks
You are responsible for handling customer disputes and refund decisions in line with law and your own terms.
Refund or dispute fees may apply and may not be recoverable.
6. Data usage for payment and reconciliation
By enabling Stripe and bank reconciliation features, you authorise Scrubix to process payment metadata, payout information and connected bank transaction data required for reconciliation workflows.
7. Platform controls
Scrubix may restrict, suspend or disable payment actions if required for risk controls, compliance concerns, fraud prevention or provider errors.
