Terms and Conditions
Last updated: 15 March 2026
These Terms and Conditions govern access to and use of Scrubix website, app, APIs and connected services.
1. Contract and acceptance
By creating an account, starting a trial or using Scrubix, you agree to these terms on behalf of yourself and your business.
2. Eligibility and account responsibility
You must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure and manage user permissions responsibly.
You are responsible for actions performed through your account and user seats.
3. Service scope
Scrubix provides business workflow tools including customer records, scheduling, jobsheets, quotes, invoices, messaging, payments and reconciliation support.
An active internet connection is required for core Scrubix features, including syncing data, messaging, payments, account access and connected-service functions.
4. Plans, billing and renewals
Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
Plan changes may take effect immediately or at next renewal depending on app-store billing rules.
SMS credits and add-ons are billed separately where applicable.
5. Payment provider integrations
Where you enable Stripe or GoCardless, payment services are provided under the relevant provider terms in addition to these terms.
You are responsible for correctly configuring your connected account, payment settings and customer payment setup.
GoCardless-specific terms: GoCardless Processing Terms
6. Dedicated SMS numbers
Once a dedicated SMS number is assigned to your Scrubix account, it is locked and cannot be changed through self-service.
If you wish to change your dedicated number, you must contact Scrubix support. Cancellation, release and replacement requests can take up to 30 days to process.
7. Google and email integrations
Google OAuth
Where you connect Gmail or other third-party communication accounts, you authorise Scrubix to use the permissions you approve to send, read and sync emails inside Scrubix.
Scrubix requests only the permissions needed for the Gmail features presented in the app. Google user data is used only to provide those visible email features, including sending emails, syncing replies and maintaining customer email threads.
Google user data is not sold to third parties, is not used for advertising, and is not used for unrelated secondary purposes outside the email features you enable in Scrubix.
You must only connect accounts you are entitled to use, and you remain responsible for the lawfulness and content of communications sent through your connected account.
You can disconnect Gmail from the Emails page in the app. Disconnecting stops future Gmail activity from Scrubix.
You can delete synced email and message records from the Emails tab in the app at any time, subject to any legal or business retention obligations that apply to your account.
8. Messaging and communication compliance
You must only send lawful communications to customers with appropriate consent or legal basis.
You must respect opt-outs and customer communication preferences.
Some SMS providers require domain/URL authorization before link sending. You are responsible for those approvals.
9. Data use and ownership
You retain ownership of your customer and business data. You grant Scrubix rights to process that data to provide and secure the service.
10. Service availability and changes
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Maintenance, provider outages and third-party failures can impact availability.
We may change features for legal, security, infrastructure or product reasons.
11. Prohibited use
You must not use Scrubix for unlawful activity, spam, harassment, fraud, malware delivery, credential theft or attempts to disrupt platform operations.
12. Suspension and termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach terms, create security risk, engage in fraud or fail payment obligations.
13. Liability limits
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Scrubix is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profits, goodwill or business interruption.
Nothing excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to mandatory local legal rights.
