Navigation Safety Terms

Scrubix navigation is provided as a driver-assistance tool. It does not replace the driver's observation, judgement or responsibility for controlling the vehicle and choosing a safe and lawful route.

Maps, roads, addresses, route geometry, turn instructions, lane guidance, speed limits, traffic conditions, journey times, closures and restrictions may be inaccurate, incomplete, delayed, unavailable or out of date.

GPS position and direction can also be affected by device settings, buildings, weather, network coverage, sensor accuracy and other conditions.

You must always follow current road signs, lane markings, access restrictions, speed limits, traffic laws, police or authorised instructions and the conditions you can see. Real-world instructions and restrictions take priority over anything shown or spoken by Scrubix.

Lane guidance, roundabout exits and turn instructions are advisory and depend on third-party map and road data. Do not make a manoeuvre unless it is safe, lawful and consistent with road signs and markings. If guidance is unclear or conflicts with the road, continue safely and allow the route to update.

Displayed speed and speed-limit information is approximate and may be delayed or incorrect. The vehicle's approved speedometer and current roadside signs remain authoritative. You are responsible for complying with the applicable limit and driving at a safe speed for the conditions.

Traffic and closure information may not include every incident or restriction and may change without notice. Scrubix does not guarantee that a suggested route is the fastest, open, accessible or suitable for your vehicle.

Drivers of large, heavy, commercial or specially restricted vehicles must independently check height, width, weight, emissions, access and other vehicle restrictions.

Do not hold, type into or otherwise interact with Scrubix while driving. Configure navigation before moving, use voice guidance where appropriate, ask a passenger to make changes, or stop somewhere safe and lawful first.

Navigation can depend on mobile data, GPS, device sensors and third-party services. Guidance may pause, reroute late, display incomplete map content or become unavailable. Maintain awareness of your location and surroundings and do not rely on Scrubix as your only means of navigation.

Scrubix is not an emergency-navigation or emergency-response service. Do not rely on it to locate emergency services, avoid hazards or make urgent safety decisions.

Navigation features may use data or services supplied by mapping, routing, traffic, positioning and device-platform providers. Their availability, coverage, accuracy, licences and terms may affect the feature.

You remain responsible for driving safely, complying with the law and deciding whether to follow any route, lane or manoeuvre guidance.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Scrubix is not responsible for fines, missed appointments, delays, property damage, vehicle damage, injury or other loss caused by relying solely on navigation information or by unsafe or unlawful use of the feature.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited.
